Individual Program Inclusion Plans (IPIPs)
Based on best practices research about adoption of innovation and social change, CCDH's All Children Together (ACT) Resource Network helps providers identify measurable goals that will build organizational capacity for including children with disabilities.
Using core program competencies for inclusion as a guide, these goals form the basis for the organization's Individual Program Inclusion Plan. Together, project ACT and IPIP agency staff identify the resources needed to implement the plan. These resources may come from within the ACT project (staff, consultants, capacity building funds) and/or from other available resources.
Becoming An IPIP Partner
Each year, the ACT Resource Network uses the following procedures to identify the community partners with which it will work on Individual Program Inclusion Plans. To date, ACT has worked with more than 35 Trust-funded providers, including 4 service partnerships.
Interest Inquiry: If you are a provider funded by The Children's Trust, and are interested in working with the ACT Resource Network on an Individual Program Inclusion Plan, please complete the Interest Inquiry by clicking here. For more information, contact Lee Morgenstern, Lead Inclusion Specialist, at 305-596-1160 x262 or lmorgenstern@ccdh.org
Intake Process: ACT staff visit potential program sites, explain the project, assess the program's readiness to include children with disabilities, and help providers identify capacity-building opportunities.
Program Evaluation & Review Committee (PERC): ACT staff, along with CCDH's senior management team, meet to review the information gathered. Decisions about which agencies become IPIP partners for the coming year are based on the potential for program development, and insuring a diverse group of providers. The goal is for providers to represent diversity in the areas of geographic location; size; type of program offered; and diversity of children served with regard to age, ethnicity, and disability.
Development of IPIP: ACT Staff and the programs selected develop an Individual Program Inclusion Plan (IPIP). The IPIP is a protocol for identifying and implementing program goals/pathways for including children with disabilities with support from the ACT project. The IPIP acknowledges the purpose of the partnership, establishes goals, sets forth a commitment to work together to meet these goals, and outlines an Action Plan for Implementation.
