Breakfast For Champions

On October 22, 2007, CCDH held it’s 9th Annual Breakfast For Champions Hosted by Wayside Baptist Church, this signature event honors the accomplishments of individuals with disabilities. Honorees are nominated by the CCDH member agencies from which they receive supports and services.
Twenty-two of our friends, neighbors, and co-workers were recognized for achieving significant milestones in their lives. More than 350 family members, employers, community and business leaders, and elected officials shared the excitement and pride of this day.
Each honoree received a plaque, and gifts worth more than $100. As in years past, the Kissimmee Convention and Visitor’s Bureau donated a very generous gift package. Only honorees were eligible for the special drawing for this gift valued at more than $2,300. It included accommodations, meals, and tickets to Orlando-area attractions for the winner and 3 guests. This year, Sunrise’s Greg Troutman was the lucky one.
