Training To Build Capacity
Experience has shown that inclusion is not possible without staff that are prepared and committed to serving children with disabilities, and programs that have acquired specific competencies. Click here to review those competencies.
With staff competency critical to successful inclusive programs, a key component of ACT activities is staff training.
ALL CHILDREN TOGETHER (ACT) TRAININGS
PARTICIPATION IN ANY OF THE TRAININGS LISTED BELOW MAY BE USED BY THE CHILDREN'S TRUST FUNDED OUT OF SCHOOL PROGRAMS TO FULFILL THE INCLUSION TRAINING REQUIREMENTS.
We strongly recommend Discovering Inclusion as the first training for those with no previous experience working with children who have disabilities.
