“My passion is helping people in need,” says Ana.  And she has a long list of both professional and volunteer experience to back it up.    Within the field of human services, Ana has worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Home Finder for foster children, Residential Counselor for youth who are homeless, Medicaid Savings Program Coordinator, and a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor for individuals dually diagnosed with both substance abuse and mental health conditions.  She has worked with people birth through 114 years old, and of every cultural, social, and economic background.

Having joined CCDH as a Family Support Coordinator in 2008, Ana is responsible for the provision of advocacy and support coordination services to individuals with disabilities and their families, as well as to professionals and others seeking assistance.  When not on the telephone helping callers identify and access the services they need and want, she participates in community outreach events and conducts training activities
