Andrea joined CCDH as its Senior Program Manager in  June of 2007.   She is responsible for daily operations including program planning and implementation, personnel management, and grants and contract management. She believes in a holistic approach to rebuilding individuals as a basis for improving communities.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Services from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She comes to CCDH with more than 35 years of experience in social service delivery, housing, and partnership development in both the public and private sectors.  She was the executive director of a not-for-profit community development corporation, Director of Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Housing and Community Development, and Assistant Director of the City of Pittsburgh’s Planning Department.
