Lee MorgensternAs the Lead Inclusion Specialist with the All Children Together (ACT) project, Lee works directly with providers to help each develop and increase its ability to include children with disabilities. He also conducts training activities and represents the organization at community events.
With a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Springfield College in Massachusetts, Lee joined CCDH in August, 2007. Previously, he held a supervisory position with Miami-Dade County's Leisure Access Program overseeing out of school programs at several sites.
Lee's lifelong commitment working with individuals with disabilities dates back to his youth. "I actually started working with children with disabilities in middle school at the YMCA in Brooklyn where I grew up," he reports. Lee also coaches Goal Ball, a sport for athletes who have visual impairments or who are blind.
