Melissa joined CCDH’s All Children Together (ACT) project in 2010.
As the Early Childhood Inclusion Coordinator, Melissa has lead responsibility for planning and implementing program activities that promote the inclusion of children Birth-Five. She provides support to programs to increase their capacity to include young children with disabilities by providing technical assistance, trainings, and developing individualized programs for children.
Melissa earned her Master’s Degree from Florida State University in Special Education, with a concentration in Early Childhood Special Education and Autism. Her background and experience include teaching at an early intervention classroom with young children with disabilities for United Cerebral Palsy. Additionally, she worked as a Program Coordinator for the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) in Orlando, FL, providing individualized support and resources to families with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders.
A native of Miami, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and her two young sons.
