Raquel joined CCDH in May 2010 bringing with her ten years of experience serving children with disabilities and supporting their families. "I thrive in my work" she says, "service is where my heart is and what I do best". Through her work as a Primary Service Coordinator for an Early Intervention Program, and then as Health and Disabilities manager for Early Education Centers in a non-profit organization, she has gained extensive knowledge of community resources and made close ties to service providers in Miami-Dade county. This advantage, along with an understanding of the challenges and triumphs of people with disabilities, is of great value in her new role as an Inclusion Specialist.
