Rebecca AlonsoImplementing CCDH’s commitments to individual choice and self-directed supports and services, Rebecca has lead responsibility for two programs - In-Home Supports and Therapies. She facilitates the selection by individuals and their families of service providers, schedules, and arrangements.
Before coming to CCDH in 2004, Rebecca had little contact with people with disabilities. “I treasure the opportunity this job has given me to broaden my understanding of what it means that all people are created equal,” she states. The mother of three and grandmother of two, Rebecca understands the challenges of balancing work and family life, and has developed deep respect for those who do this with the added responsibilities of caring for someone with a disability.
Rebecca studied social and biological sciences in college, and owned and operated several successful service-oriented businesses.
