Sheena Guzman
Training Assistant

In 2008, Sheena joined CCDH as its Training Assistant.  Having worked for a large provider of supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, Sheena had experience as both a Direct Support Staff and as a Training Specialist.  In the latter position, she trained more than 2,200 employees in CPR, First Aid, HIV/AIDS and OSHA requirements.  In 2009, her experience enabled CCDH to become an official American Heart Association CPR/First Aid training site, a service CCDH makes available to agencies throughout our community.

Working primarily with CCDH’s All Children Together (ACT) project, Sheena provides Discovering Inclusion training to children’s services programs.  She is also responsible for data collection and reporting on training outcomes; working with families to match children with disabilities to programs who can accommodate them; and provides to staff the essential support necessary to insure successful program outcomes through planning, arranging, and coordinating activities and events.

When not working, Sheena enjoys spending time with her family, and reading
