Therapies
CCDH has a grant to provide financial subsidies for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. Typically, an individual can receive an evaluation, and up to 25 hours of therapy.
To qualify for this service, an individual must:

Have a developmental disability ;
Reside in their own or family home;
Be unable to obtain services from Medicaid, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, or other public funders; and
Have not received In-Home Supports or Therapies from CCDH since 2005, or no cost therapy from another organization within the past 18 months.,
Applicants are then prioritized for services in the following order:
1. Adults;
2. 12+ years and not receiving therapy at school;
3. 12+ years and receiving limited therapy at school;
4. 6 years (after Pre-K) to 12 and not receiving therapy at school;
5. 6 years (after Pre-K) to 12 and receiving limited therapy at school;
6. 3-5 years and not receiving any therapy from anywhere; and
7. 3-5 years receiving some therapy, with priority given to those receiving the least.
Individuals receiving this assistance may choose to receive Physical, Occupational, OR Speech Therapy.
